Weightlifting Club
About
Women are often discouraged in the weightroom due to intimidations and/or uncertainty of how to use machines at a gym. The purpose of this club is to encourage fellow women to take ownership in their physical health, as well as learn how to properly weight lift. The teamwork of women in one setting will only create a positive environment as they encourage and teach others based on their experience with the weightroom. This club would be a fun, light way to connect with others around campus all towards a healthy fitness lifestyle. Although, in no way shape or form are men discouraged to participate. We accept everyone to join, no matter what they identify themselves to be or where they come from. This is a fun way to get people together who are passionate about the same hobby; weightlifting!
